About Us
We are a Volunteer Non-profit Organization located in Manchester, Maryland providing Emergency Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Medical Services in Northern Carroll County as well as the surrounding communities.
We have both Paid and Volunteer EMS and Fire Personnel. All our firefighters are volunteers from the community. Many are paid career firefighters in other jurisdictions such as Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Howard County and Frederick County.
We are always looking for Volunteers to help with Fire, EMS andFundraisers. Local residents can come out and assist with fundraising events and get to meet other people in the community. Students can come out and get your community service points needed for graduation and those needing community service time can come out and help.
Carroll County offers free training for those interested in becoming firefighters and EMT's. Most classes are taught by MFRI (Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute) and University of Maryland Instructors as well as local Carroll County Instructors.
Regular company meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month. The July meeting is held the last Tuesday of June due to our carnival. Meeting start time is 7:30 p.m. at the Activities Building. Applications for membership can be turned in at any regular meeting.
